"What I noticed from Pilates last year was that I have much better control of my body. I repeat my delivery consistently. My balance is much improved. And the mental and physical toughness Pilates requires to complete movements the correct way have directly helped me on the mound.
Jake Arrieta
MLB Player, Chicago Cubs

Pilates on Balanced Body Reformers has greatly increased my core strength and my overall flexibility. I'm more agile than I was before and that's a big deal in my line of work. It has definitely become a crucial part of my training program.

Former NFL Player, Assistant Coach, New England Patriots

Pilates is a system of total body conditioning that is accessible to people of all ages and levels of fitness. Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates as a means of physical fitness and total body healing. The nine principles of the Pilates Method are breathing, concentration, control, centering, flow, precision, whole body movement, balanced muscle movement and relaxation and are integral components of each Pilates session.

These principles work synergistically to heal the body and restore a mind/body connection. Pilates exercises strengthen muscles by lengthening and toning rather than creating bulk and are performed either on mats or utilizing specialized apparatus, such as, the reformer.
